We are proud to inform we are in the process of submitting an PCT application for the  development of our digital watermarking technology. This application will set forth the basis for  the development of products which can be implemented in the areas of information security with applications such as authentication certificates and digital watermarking, among other  applications. This invention is part of our greater efforts at contributing to the generation of  knowledge based economic initiatives in Puerto Rico.

Gauss Research Laboratory, INC. unveils a new User Community:
As part of the effort by GRL, INC. and GRF, INC. to serve the community of Puerto Rico, we have taken the task of designing a user community for the nic.pr. As part of this effort will be organizing diverse meetings and workshops where experts in different areas will give their knowledge to help us learn and grow as a .pr community. Topics such as Internet Governance, E- Commerce, Web Design, Domain Names, among others will be major part of our goal. Also, there will be space for our customers to communicate their needs.


While DNSSEC has been deployed on top-level domains operated by Sweden, Puerto Rico, Bulgaria, Brazil and the Czech Republic, VeriSign will support it in 2011. Click here for full story. (February 24, 2009)


The NIC.PR announces that Internet users can now register .pr domain names using Internationalized Domain Names (IDN). The introduction of these new domain names now enables Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese speakers to establish web sites using words commonly used in those languages such as muñeca.pr, teléfonos.pr, garçon.pr, schön.pr, or amanhã.pr.
